This module is the culmination of the programme of study that requires you to undertake independent research that links theory to practice. The dissertation is designed for continual feedback throughout the module, with you having access to an individual online supervisor to enable close interaction. Research methods training will be provided to allow you to have a deep understanding of the approaches that can be taken. If you are opting for a specialism pathway, then the research for the dissertation must be undertaken in the chosen area of specialism.
This qualification is awarded under Swiss private higher education regulations and is certified by the eduQua quality label for adult and continuing education in Switzerland. It is not aligned with the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) or the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) system, and does not confer a formally recognised academic award in Ireland.
