Longford International College Graduation Ceremony 2026

We are delighted to announce that the Longford International College Graduation Ceremony 2026 will take place on the following date:

🕘 Time: Registration at 11:00
‍ Ceremony commences at 12:00 Noon‍ ‍


The hotel is conveniently located beside Dublin Airport and can be reached on foot in approximately 15 minutes. A shuttle bus also runs regularly from both airport terminals. We will share further information shortly regarding special hotel rates for those who may wish to stay overnight.

There is no limit to the number of guests you may bring to the ceremony.

This ceremony marks the culmination of your academic journey, and we look forward to celebrating your achievements with you, your family, and the wider Longford College community. All students who wish to attend the graduation ceremony must complete the short registration form below.

Please complete the form no later than Friday, 1st September 2026. This form is essential to finalise your participation, request your guest tickets, and ensure you are included in the graduation proceedings.

  • Graduation Tickets

    We are proud to celebrate your academic success at our upcoming graduation ceremony. To ensure a well-organised and enjoyable event for all, each graduand is entitled to five (5) guest tickets. Tickets must be requested in advance to secure entry for your family and guests.

    Please complete the ticket application form below no later than 1st September 2026. Applications received after this date cannot be guaranteed, and late submissions may not be accommodated due to venue capacity and safety regulations.

    If you wish to request additional tickets, you may do so within the form; however, these will be subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

  • Photography

    Founded in Dublin in 1880, Lafayette is one of Ireland’s longest-standing photography companies. Renowned for its rich heritage, the company has evolved into a leading provider of both academic and commercial photography. With a team of fully qualified photographers, Lafayette offers an extensive range of services—from individual portraits and corporate headshots to large, staged group images. Since specialising in academic photography in the mid-1970s, they have developed significant expertise in operating mobile studios for graduation ceremonies and annually photographing large numbers of school children across Ireland.

    Lafayette’s esteemed clientele includes some of Ireland’s most prestigious educational institutions, such as Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, University College Cork, and many others, including Longford College. Their commercial photography division is similarly well established, servicing numerous state, semi-state, and private organizations through national government frameworks.

  • Academic Gowns

    All graduands are required to wear the appropriate academic gown for the graduation ceremony. Our preferred supplier is Phelan Conan Limited, specialists in academic dress. To ensure a smooth and efficient experience, please observe the following:

    Pre-Order Requirement
    All graduates must pre-book their gowns online by midnight the following day. Click the Order button below and select the option corresponding to your degree. Early booking is essential to guarantee availability.

    Hire Fees

    Pre-paid hire fee: €35 (collected during online booking)

    Pay-on-the-day hire fee: €40 (card payment only; cash will not be accepted). All fees subject to change from supplier.

    Secure Payment Process
    Phelan Conan’s site employs 3D Secure authentication for all credit-card transactions. If you have not yet activated your personal 3D Secure password, you will be guided through activation as part of the booking process. For any issues with 3D Secure, please contact your bank directly.

    Collection and Return
    Gowns will be ready for collection from 11:00 AM on the day of the ceremony at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dublin Airport. Please arrive in good time to dress and prepare without delay. All gowns must be returned promptly after the conclusion of the ceremony.

    We strongly encourage you to place your order as soon as possible to ensure a seamless graduation experience.

  • We look forward to celebrating your achievements at the upcoming graduation ceremony. To help the event run smoothly, we kindly ask all graduands to arrive at the venue 25–30 minutes before the scheduled start time.

    The ceremony will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dublin Airport.

    Academic gowns will be available for collection at the designated gowning area within the Radisson Blu prior to the ceremony. Please ensure you have pre-ordered your gown in advance.

    Graduands will be guided to the ceremony room via a dedicated entrance and shown to their seats by a member of our staff. Guests should enter through the main hotel entrance, where they will be warmly welcomed and directed to their seating area.

    Please note that each graduand may bring five guests only, in accordance with venue capacity and health and safety protocols.

  • Graduation is a formal academic occasion, and we ask all graduands to dress accordingly.

    • Formal footwear is required. There is no colour restriction, but trainers are not permitted.

    • Casual attire, including jeans, tracksuits, and bottoms, is not permitted.

    • Please dress in a manner that complements your academic gown and reflects the dignity of the occasion.

  • All graduands eligible to attend the Longford International College Summer Graduation Ceremony 2025 will receive a formal invitation via personal email. This email will include a link to confirm your attendance and to reserve guest tickets through our official Eventbrite portal.

    To confirm your place at the ceremony and to order your guest tickets, please follow these steps:

    1. Check your personal email for your invitation to the graduation ceremony.

    2. Click the link provided in Eventbrite page directly for your family and friends tickets:

    3. Select the "Graduand Admission" option to confirm your attendance.

    4. You may then order up to two guest tickets free of charge, as per our guest policy.

    5. Complete your registration by following the on-screen instructions and submitting the form.

    Please ensure you respond by the ticket deadline of June 20th, 2025. After this date, we cannot guarantee seating availability for guests.

  • During the ceremony, graduands will be called to the stage by name and in their respective degree groups. As your name is announced, you will proceed across the stage where you will be formally presented with your degree parchment by the College President.

    After receiving your parchment, you will exit the stage to the President's right and be guided back to your seat by a member of staff.

    Once all graduands have been conferred, the formal proceedings will conclude. You are warmly invited to remain at the venue, where light refreshments will be served, and you will have the opportunity to avail of professional photography services with your family and guests.

    When you are ready to depart, please ensure that you return your academic gown to the designated gown return area before leaving the venue.
